Students of Ballet School will perform at the Bazar event. This year, the Bazaar will be a very big event, with a record number of countries participating and many important guests. In that respect, we wish to kindly ask all school representatives, to obligatory come to the Sajam on Saturday, December 1st, between 10am - 12am. As part of getting parents familiar with RAD programme and examination we are organising public classes in ballet school premises to rehearse and demonstrate the curriculum that will be covered in the RAD exams taking place on the 29th October. Students and parents will be able to attend all grades and levels public classes that they are interested in. The exact time of public classes will be displayed on 15th October on the bulletin board in front of the ballet studio. The venue for this year’s RAD examination will be at the Terazije Theatre and the exact timetable will be displayed on 20th October on the bulletin board in front of the ballet studio. Please check few weeks ahead of exams that your child’s uniform is correct size and colour. Ballet School ASD will work based on Royal Academy of Dance programme and organising exams in Serbia. All existing and new students will be learning their syllabus and have opportunity to get diploma from the largest and most accredited examination board in the world. Enrolment for the 2011/12 school year is going to take place on 31. August from 17h to 19h in the school premises. The auditions for new students will take place on 1. and 2. September from 17h to 19h in the school premises. Students of Ballet School will perform at the summer festival Dani Voždovca - "Srećan početak školske godine" on 4th and 12th of Septembra at 18h. Students of Ballet School ASD recived Royal Academy of Dance certificates for successfully completed graded examination
Royal Academy of Dance programme has been presented to media for the first time in Serbia
Founded in London in 1920 with the aim of revolutionizing dance education in the UK, RAD is now a globally recognized and highly respected institution for ballet and dance education, including teacher training. Not only does RAD encourage theoretical understanding and appreciation of dance as an art, but its education and training is unique, its curriculum especially adapted at each stage to complement students physical and intellectual development.
RAD has also developed its own examination system for each stage, not only providing student with personal satisfaction with their achievements, but internationally recognized dance qualifications as well.
During its existence RAD has continually improved the quality and validity of its work, so that it has enlarged its work to cover schools in over 79 countries worldwide, where its exam preparation syllabus is taught by RAD trained teachers to more than 250 thousand students.

Ana Došen is a dance professional with over 16 years experience in theatre performance and ballet teaching. She founded her ballet school ASD in 1998 which since 2011 has been the first and only ballet school in Serbia to prepare students and provide a registered venue for Royal Academy Of Dance examinations. She is fully committed to promoting and teaching ballet at the highest level.
The school offers an internationally recognized portfolio of examinations and assessments as well as a curriculum for students who wish to improve their physical posture or to learn ballet as a recreation.
At each stage the syllabus has been designed to follow Royal Academy of Dance standards, motivating and encouraging pupils, ranging from tiny tots to teenagers, in a specific, systematized, measurable, and enjoyable way.
